I never said MMA was bigger than Boxing in any Country. I said MMA is big in the UK and it is, they sell out everytime they go over there. Michael Bisping is very popular in the UK. And if nobody gives a shit then why does the UFC sell out when they go to the UK? Its the same in Austrailia, may not be as big as boxing there but that doesn't mean its not Big there. However overall MMA is much more popular than Boxing. MMA makes more money than Boxing and has for the last 5 years.

Huge fan of the ufc and the games I hope EA doesn't fuck it up.trailer looks promising and everything I've read about the new features is what I've been hoping for so far. I wasn't feeling too good when I heard EA was taking over the game because I wasn't impressed at all with EA MMA but with the next gen consoles coming out and UFC over looking the development I'm sure Dana white won't let this game suck hopefully lol Hell he did say he hated the MMA game when that came out lol

Also, adding on to my other comment, Boxing as a sport is done, yes it's entertaining, but Boxing fans only care about one fight that will never happen. There are no true Boxing fans out there, I've never seen one, I've never seen Boxing "fans" say "Hey, did you see that great fight last night?!" UFC fans seem to be more tuned in, they actually give a shit about the sport, plus the UFC PPVs are always STACKED with talent unlike Boxing ones. I know it's apples and oranges but face facts, man.

Why did they change the fight outcome? When Pettis threw that super kick in real life it nearly took Henderson's head off; you could hear the impact. Anthony ended up winning the WEC title. He's on his way to beating Benson again for the UFC LW title. What he did to Cerrone was intense...Still, excited for this game!

No, I've played all the UFC Undisputed games and EA MMA. Regardless of how you feel about UFC Undisputed, they were all better than EA MMA. You're saying THQ just re-packaged the same game? Isn't that what EA Sports is notorious for? Go find some differences in the FIFA, NFL, & NHL games over the years, I would say NBA Live but 2K put them out of business.

It's looks like the Fight Night series may be dead. EA is really pushing the UFC on fans. Dana White is very involved with the UFC game. The UFC game may be a yearly product; leaving no room for Fight Night.

Yea boxing has had it's time and it's legends. It has a strong past, it's been around forever, but that takes time to build, UFC hasn't been around long enough to have as many people considered legends, but I can say in about 20 years, people will see Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, and other classic MMA guys as legends. Boxing is just a dying sport, people don't wanna just see people swinging punches anymore, they want action and all around fighting. It's just an example of how sports evolve.

The sport IS dying when most people can only name one current boxer, Floyd Mayweather, if not just Floyd, they know Pacquiao. The only boxing fights that are getting ordered are Floyd Mayweather's, ONLY because people wanna see if his streak will finally end. Floyd only has about 5 more fights before he retires, 2-3 years left, when Floyd retires, the sport of boxing will take a huge hit because he's the only guy bringing attention to boxing.

EVERY THQ game sucked ... no wonder the studio closed. Just compare their games to ANY other fighting game, the gameplay is so robotic, not fluid at all, watching a match is like watching two retarded fighters, anything any studio can come up with is better than the best game of THQ. BTW most THQ games were developed by Yuke (just look at their games lol), EA MMA was developed by EA Tiburon, UFC EA is being developed by EA Canada, same as Fight Night, so ... its going to be alot better ...

You can think what you want about EA MMA but it was 100x more realistic than the THQ UFC game. That's what I care about as well as a lot of people. If I wanted a fake game I would go play street fighter.In what world would a fighter transition 3 times and the other fighter say OK, you tried 3 times let me give you mount. I was given UFC 3 by the devs for free because I was a friend and I still dislike the game. If I paid $60 for it I would request my money back.

I don't think they're evil as I buy pretty much every game EA puts out each year. I think they're too pre-occupied with other games to make this one any more worth buying than EA MMA. THQ's only other development game was WWE and the odd Saints Row game, they took time with it. Put their money into it and got bankrupted because of it. Regardless if EA has more money, they won't put in the time that THQ and that's the reason why I don't think it will do good, and EA is the wrong way to go with it

Looks pretty tight, but what I'm most interested in are the controls. A blend of EA MMA's TPC plus some more varied ground controls (sort of a mix of UFC 3 + EA MMA) would be ideal in my opinion --- Realism > Arcade, so please be considerate of spamming and other gamey BS too :) I have faith EA....for anyone who wants to check out one of my old MMA fights (Live Broadcast) check my latest uploaded video....
